Everyone says this to me! This is also the most devastating effect on the spine because it is one of the most overlooked health problems in our society for two reasons; there is not always an obvious trauma; there are no obvious symptoms.
We should be focused on our health for the future and not just trying to make ourselves feel good for now.
Why should I get checked if I don’t feel any pain?
This picture is the #1 reason why you should get checked even if you don’t feel pain. Pain sensation is less than 10% of your nerve! Degeneration starts at the cellular level at about 4 weeks from a neurostructural shift. This is way before we start to feel pain. The longer degeneration is set in place, is twice as long as it takes to regenerate what was lost. And if there is too much damage already occurred on the nerve, there is no returning and you fall into the category of trying to maintain only what you have left of it.
Most information carried from your organs to your brain does not give rise to conscious sensation, meaning you can't “feel” when your organs aren’t functioning properly. You just start to notice some secondary conditions or symptoms.
Do yourself a favor, and don’t judge your health just based on how you feel!
