Delicious Recipe, Homemade Deodorant Recipe, and Why Having a Stable Foundation is So Important

Why is having a stable foundation so important?

When we talk about the foundation of your spine, I am referring to your pelvis. As you can see, on the left side is a pelvis that is level and on the right side is a pelvis that is not level. The unleveled pelvis causes the rest of the spine up abo
ve to shift out of alignment which we refer to as a Neurostructural shift. Our bodies are always trying to keep our head centered and our eyes level. So it will adapt and move as much as it can to do that causing our spine to be in abnormal positions. With each step you take it causes abnormal pressure on to your spine due to its abnormal position.

If you have ever bought a house or want to buy a house the one major thing that you want to be sure about is that it has a stable foundation. If the foundation of your house is not stable everything inside could eventually start to fail or fall apart. Some things that you may look for to avoid an unstable foundation are doors or windows are sticky or squeaky, walls with cracks, or nails popping out of the sheet rock. This is one area that you want to be stable before moving in or it can get very costly in the future.

Not having a strong foundation can lead to a myriad of different secondary conditions or also called symptoms. Some of these secondary conditions include:

  • Headaches
  • Numbness/Tingling in the arms and hands
  • decreased range of motion
  • neck pain
  • mid-back pain
  • low back pain
  • muscle tension
  • acne
  • eczema
  • degeneration
  • TMJ
  • Posture related issues
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome

Homemade deodorant recipe

Ingredients
4 tbsp coconut oil
5 tbsp corn starch
1 tbsp and 1 tsp baking soda
20 drops essential oil (I used 7 drops lemon, 7 drops lavender, 5 frankincense essential oils) You can use any kind!
Directions
1 Combine all ingredients (except the essential oil) in a pan over a low flame.
2 Stir with a wooden spoon until everything melts.
3 Now let it cool off for about a minute then gently pour it into a GLASS jar. Do not use plastic because it’ll melt.
4 Add the essential oils and stir well with a chopstick. You can use this small ball glass jar (on amazon). It will get into a kind of creamy but more solid consistency that you can easily scoop out with your finger. I love this consistency.
5 Voila! It’s ready! Store at room temperature in a cool dark place. It lasts over 3 months! Try not to let it melt.
6 To use, scoop out only a tiny pea sized amount using a clean fingertip and apply. Make sure to use clean and dry fingers – do not introduce water into the deodorant. This homemade deodorant has a good consistency that sinks right into your skin when you apply. Even if you have armpit hairs, you can still use it without any problems – it will not leave a trace like some store bought deodorants that are a chalky mess.
